One of the most enjoyable things of this job is working on commissions – pieces designed and inspired by people’s ideas and dreams. I love taking designs and modifying them to fit your personal taste, or coming up with something totally new and working out how to do that!
Commission pieces are generally priced roughly the same as the work in the shop, I don’t add extra for it being a commission, although prices vary depending on materials, extras, and so on – a piece in sterling silver will be considerably more expensive than in steel, purely for the cost of the metal rather than the time weaving.
